I am currently a full-time student in my 4th year of Bible school and freelance design on the side. I’m an INTJ, a productivity nerd and an artist.
I grew up around Church my entire life. Throughout my life, I had conviction about the existence of God and begrudgingly held to a Christian worldview, but I grew distant from God and angry at the Church as I grew older. In my later teen years, at the end of my rope, I cried out to God in desperation. Jesus met me there, at my lowest point. I responded, and began to follow Christ. He opened up my heart and set me free from fear and depression. The experiences I had as a teenager put a burden on my heart to see people, especially the youth, genuinely meet and know God. It’s my desire to see believers possess a true and vibrant friendship with God and not just a system of beliefs or a moral worldview. I pray and work to see the love of Christ touch the hardest and darkest places in society, and the places most often overlooked. I’m also passionate to see a revolution of spirit filled artists that not only impact, but even define culture.

I work full time as a web designer for a ministry in Kansas City, where I also worship lead and sing. I love my family, and am blessed with amazing friends. Myers Briggs tells me I’m an INFJ.
From a church going family one week to a broken family the next I was left with a ton of confusion and questions as a kid. My parents were pushing through their own struggles when I was young that I never really felt like I had a home. Moving around a ton, not having a ton of friends and then finally landing in Alabama I wasn’t sure who I was or what to think about God. Even in childhood I had given up on the idea of counting on someone. Then one day while reluctantly visiting a youth group my mom asked us to try I heard a message about the love of God and it hit my heart in a way I had never heard. It wasn’t a religious message, or a bunch of rules of who I needed to be before I could be a “christian”, just that he loved me and wanted to know me. I accepted him as my Lord and Savior and was baptized in the spirit. Then attending the church for the remainder of high school, where I grew a ton, moved to Kansas City at seventeen, to do an internship for a ministry, where I now live and work.
