Brotherhood

It’s time you took notice. The day you said yes to Christ, is the day it all changed. It’s the day you became a part of His family. It’s the day you enlisted in His army. It’s the day you stopped standing alone. And it’s the day you gave up your right to live for yourself.“…Being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:1-4

“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5. What mind did Christ possess? “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:3

You are charged daily with the lives of your brothers and sisters – to give yourself for their sake. When they forget who they are, remind them. When they feel like quitting, encourage them. When they suffer, love them. We are called to stand for one another. Pray for one another. Sacrifice for one another.  Pick one another up. Call one another higher.

The fact is the battle rages daily. Facing it alone makes us vulnerable. We need each another, whether we like to think so or not. It doesn’t matter how independent we are anymore, we will never discover the our full potential without each other.

Stand Together.

Mark 3:25 A house divided cannot stand…

Ecclesiastes 4:12 …But a threefold cord is not easily broken.
